“Happy Birthday to you” Card!
I love using scraps, they are perfect for cards and can add tons of color, so much versatility and the cool thing is that you can have tons of fun….let your creativity flow!
I really can’t tell you how much anxiety I used to have when making a card. I could have stayed away from them but I decided that if I was gonna get any good at making cards that I was satisfied with, I had to dive in!
A while back I had an assignment to create a card and a couple of layouts using a new paper company (Authentique), so like any project I had some left over pieces. Then I used a lot of Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, bronze/gold filigree butterfly, seam binding and pearls sprays to embellish it and was happy with it, looks whimsy with a twist of shab! I love it!
I apologize for no video….just couldn’t, but here are the pics for it! The card was for my friend Aliscia….a little late, but still:)
I hope you enjoyed this post and I hope this card was of inspiration for you:) If you want to know what supplies I used, please leave a comment and or questions in the comments section below. If you need me to respond, please leave me your email address or email me!
Have a great day! xo, Jules:)
