HOME DECOR: Fluffy Burlap Wreath tutorial with video!
This is a Pinterest inspired project although the tutorials I found were a little vague and a little hard to follow, I figured I couldn’t be the only one to feel this way so I thought to share how I made mine on video and share it, so I’m not gonna type a whole lot here!
List of supplies:
- Wreath form, 16″-18″
- 6″ burlap ribbon (the fuller you want the more rolls you’ll need) I believe I used 6 rolls.
- Floral wire and/or jute twine
- Wire cutters
- Any flower accessories you want or greenery (I got mine at Hobby Lobby)
This was the most fun wreath I’ve ever made! LOVE the look too! It can be given a shabby vibe or cottage or even a Farmhouse vibe. Depends on the flowers or ribbon! Super cute!
I hope this is a project you enjoyed! Detailed pics below!
Have a great crafty day!
Thanks for stopping by!

Absolutely beautiful Jules. I think this is one of the prettiest burlap wreaths I've seen! I sent your video off to a friend. She just told me she bought up a clearance of these rolls, and was wondering what she'd do with them!..lol..Solved that for her!…lol..Miss your video's, so this was a treat! Take Care
This is absolutely beautiful. I'll have to give it a try for my new house. Thanks so much.
Wow this is gorgeous x
Great tutorial! I've always loved these wreaths as well but never gave it a try…intimidated I guess…you made it look soooo easy! It's beautiful…love those hydrangeas!
Your wreath turned out beautiful and I enjoyed your video!! Thanks for sharing!
Hugs, Cathy-Lynn
Just beautiful
You're so sweet Carol, Thank you!!!
Hello Stephanie, I can't remember but probably no more than $25. I had 4 rolls that were about $3-$4 each, the wreath form was about $3-$4, the flower sprigs….I bought 2 of them at $4 each or so and the wire and twine I had at home. You can use more or less burlap…the more you use the more fuller it will be, the less you use the less full and spacey it will be and you can use whatever flowers you want! Thanks for the comment!!
Thanks Irene!!
How much did it cost you to make?
I noticed when you first started you were going bottom, middle, and then top for the loops. Then you changed it and started going in random slots. Is that right or did I miss something?

Hi Susan! I continued in the same order. It's bottom, middle, top, middle, bottom, middle, top, middle, bottom, middle, top…..and so on. You will always end up having more loops in the middle because of that. This wreath is my very 1st and I've gotten better at it! I now count how many loops I have in per section so it's evenly distributed. I hope that helps…and please forgive me for my late reply. Thanks for your question:) xo
