Shabby “Butterfly Garden” Switchplate!
Hello everyone!
I’m sharing a little project I made today! I was pretty tired of the plastic boring light switch plate I had in my craft room and I found a pretty wooden one that I could alter from my local
Craft Warehouse!
$1.99!!! Not too bad huh?:)
So….looking at this all day, was old!
Look how boring!
I took the wooden one and went to town with it!
I recorded this project and taught myself a new editing program (A lot of work editing, just so you know)! So I hope you enjoy this project and the video tutorial!
Enjoy the video and detail pics that will follow!
I love it on my wall now! I had to make a few adjustments since the switch opening on the wood plate was bigger than the one on the plastic plate…I just added some paper to the back of the wooden plate:) It’s all good though! I LOVE it!
See:)
It’s close to the framing but it fit!
