The Jule Box Studios

"Making memories and celebrating moments with pretty crafty things!"

Hello everyone!

Just FYI….this is an edited post…I had it almost ready to go last month but because of my accident (I mentioned on FB), I could not sit long enough to work on it….I couldn’t even finish the video editing (still need to rest)…but I did have this project done and now, after working on it a little at a time, I can finally share it! Thank you Lord!:)

Ok, so last month’s (December) Wild Orchid Crafts DT challenge was a Christmas or HOME Decor Ornament!! One night…thinking of what to make, it hit me….”ah… dressform with wings, like an angel…hmm, that would be cute!!!..in a shabby style so it can be displayed all year long!!” So off I go to my studio and started looking for what to use….so I came up with this!

I used the die cuts from my Accucut die cut (for the “Fancy Mini Topnote”) and Tim Holtz die cut (for the Wings and Dressform) listings! Please visit, I’ve posted a few new ones on both! 🙂

Oh yes!!!….I added 1/2″- 1″ wide strips of lace trim and seam binding and made her a skirt!! How girly is this!!?? I think very! 🙂

So here’s my intro video sharing how I put it together followed by the video tutorial! Enjoy!

Here are more photos and some close ups!

The paper I used is from
Melissa Frances’ “C’est la vie” 6×6 paper pad,
you can see the delicate print of angels and cherubs
in pink with a cream background? Beautiful right!?
