Visiting CHA Winter 2015, Anaheim CA with Laurie!!

Hello everyone!

(Fair warning, this post is super photo heavy so if you’re page is taking a bit to load, just leave it up and do something else and come back to it, so all the pics will be ready to look at….or refresh the
page and give a minute for loading)

CHA 2015 is over for Winter and it was a whirlwind!!! And that’s putting it mildly. I had the privilege of visiting this year with my best bud Laurie and my sweet sister Lisa. We didn’t go all 4 days, we went for 2 but I think we’ll need 3 days or maybe all 4 for the next visit to see EVERYTHING!!

Now I always thought that I would walk in and be blown away and get through everything, meet some people, take pics and videos……it was kind of like that but I NEVER thought I would be as exhausted as I was even after just the first day!! Don’t get me wrong, I LOVED it all but man….It’s A LOT to take in and walk, it was fun but it’s overwhelming! Laurie and I knew in a way what to expect but the magnitude of CHA was off the charts!

Although we can’t buy products at CHA…like on the spot, we can however pre-order their newly released products they shared at the show. There are giveaways but it seemed that they would only giveaway products (just little things) or catalogs if you give them a business card, which I didn’t take enough of but will next time! LOL!! There were lots of make and takes and although I didn’t sign up for crops or classes, some booths were set up for passer by’ers to stop and make something cute, quick and simple!! Those were nice and my sister Lisa did those more than I did….she had fun and that made me happy!!

The day of take-off was very much anticipated and Laurie and I were so ansy to get to LA! Here we are on our way to the Portland Airport, then the flight!

You can visit Laurie on her YouTube channel HERE. She’s got an Artfire shop and carries some products you may be interested in 🙂

Our take-off from Portland!! 🙂
Leaving Oregon!

Then….we land in LA!!!! YAY!!!!!

So, onward with pictures….

First place I stopped at was over at the Prima Marketing Booth! I started recording videos but was so overwhelmed by ALL the products and people, I decided to stop. I met some sweet people the second I walked into the Prima but then there were people that really surprised methey weren’t very nice, it really, really surprised me. I won’t get into it but this experience with something else I went through with them a couple of years ago really makes them a lesser favorite.…and that seriously makes me sad.

Well, the highlight of my visit at Prima was that I met the very talented Anna Debrowska “Finn”, the super sweet Jaime Dougherty and the beautiful Delaina Burns!!

I can’t tell you how much of an honor it was to meet these ladies!

The booth was super pretty as expected. I LOVED all the collections that were out and “oh holy moly”, the samples from the Prima design team was absolutely gorgeous!!

Isn’t it all beautiful!!??  I think I hung out at the booth for almost 45 minutes with Laurie, Shelly (Laurie’s sister) and Lisa! Then we
went to some other booths:)

 Here’s the Spellbinder’s Booth…
I think this booth was the most gorgeous of them all!!

I met the ever so wonderful and talented Ms. Diane, she is the founder and owner of G45 papers! She’s gotta be the most sweetest lady in the world! Nothing but smiles and hugs and kind words. She’s also a very pretty lady! Look at her outfit, cute right!?
I was extatic to met her and super giddy
You could probably see it on my face! LOL
Oh and their offices are in Portland Oregon, I don’t know how I’ve lived in Oregon for almost 20 years and never knew that until now. I’ve gotta visit them one day!
Laurie, Lisa and I did a quick make and take there at the
G45 booth! Jeffery was very cool!
Ms Diane hung out with us as we created!

Here’s the beautiful Pion Papers Booth….
These are 2 of their designers Johanna and Annica, these two were so super sweet. I found out that this was Pion‘s first time at CHA! They traveled 18+ hours flying to and from…that’s a long trip!
I enjoyed chatting with these sweet ladies and I hope
to see them again next year!

woot woot!!!!….
I met Traci!! I can’t find the other photos of the booth…I’m sorry, but I did buy some stuff…..a new tray, new clear cutting plates and…get this…they have a new adapter system that is used for die cutting wafer thin dies!!! YES!! I was so glad that they finally have that….this means I can get some larger dies for this.
I almost bought the Spellbinders Grand Calibur but now I don’t have too. Thanks to Accucut!!
I also met little Ms Modge Podge! I say Ms because she had some serious bling jewelery going on!! 🙂
I wanted to take her home on day 4 of CHA!!

Ahhh…she’s so adorable!!
Here’s my BFF Laurie with her too!
